BRUNCH –ON THE BEACH POSTPONED UNTIL SUNDAY, JUNE 6, 2021

By | News

Unfortunately, the Government of Spain has banned events that concentrate large numbers of people. It is a pity, but it is understandable given what we face. As a consequence, we have been forced, along with Primavera Sound, to postpone the Brunch -On the Beach Special until Sunday, June 6, 2021.

However, in these uncertain times, we believe that it is more important than ever to celebrate the good news in order to stay positive. And we have one: we will keep all our headliners for next year!

That means Amelie Lens, Black Coffee, Disclosure (dj set) and Nina Kraviz will be at Brunch -On the Beach to celebrate that all of this has ended with an unforgettable party. And most importantly, we want you to be there to dance together too.

Now I would like to explain all the ticket exchange and refund options that we can offer you in these difficult times.

SAVE YOUR TICKET: SAVE BRUNCH -ON THE BEACH

For a small company like ours, the fact that you save your ticket for next year is very meaningful.

Creating a festival like Brunch –On the Beach involves months of planning, preparation, and work by our team, which without you saving your ticket for next year puts our ability to continue the event at risk.

If you decide to keep your ticket, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING. Your ticket of 2020 is valid for 2021 and all the benefits that we explained in an email that ticket holders received on Tuesday, May 26 will automatically be included. If you have not received this email, please contact us directly at ticketsbeach@brunch-in.com

Nevertheless, if you would prefer the refund of your ticket, it can be requested by filling out the form available via this link. According to Art. 36.1 of Decree-Law 15/2020, your refund must be requested within 14 days that will start on June 3, 2020, available until June 17. The amount corresponding to the cost of your ticket * will be paid within 60 days.

*Distribution costs are managed by Resident Advisor.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us

directly at ticketsbeach@brunch-in.com and we will answer you as soon as possible.

These are difficult times for all, but it is in our hands to continue fighting for a better tomorrow. And we do not imagine a tomorrow without music.

Wishing you and yours strength and good health!

A warm nudge from the Brunch -On The Beach and Primavera Sound teams!

We will dance together again!

CANCELLATION STATEMENT BRUNCH -IN THE CITY MAY 2020

By | News

As you all know, due to the current global health crisis that we are living, the Government of Spain has extended the state of alarm. That means that we have been forced to cancel all the Brunch –In the City planned for May. So the 3 events we had planned for May 10, 17 and 24 are official cancelled.

We had put all our enthusiasm to make this Brunch –In the City Barcelona 2020 season the greatest one of our history. So taking that decision has been very difficult for us, but everyone’s health must be the top priority at the moment.

Despite all the hard work and our efforts, the circumstances have only allowed us to do 1 event in 2020, and with the May events, there are 6 that we have canceled. This means that our situation as a small company is becoming complicated.

We are aware of the gravity of the current situation, and we absolutely don’t want to draw attention away from those who are suffering from a risky situation: the sick people and the people who take care for them. We would especially like to express our deep appreciation to all the healthcare staff. In this battle, they are the true heroes.

However, following the optimistic spirit of our festival, we remain hopeful of making Brunch at summer.

Keep your ticket: #SaveYourFestival

For a small company like us, the cancellation of 6 events puts us in a difficult situation. But the fact that you keep your ticket for another Brunch in the future means a lot. Obviously, we request this action only from those who feel their situation allows it.

It may not seem like much, but with this you will be helping to save the scene, helping workers to fight to keep alive a festival that is already part of everyone. It is the small gestures that achieve great things.

What happen with my tickets?

All of you who have tickets for a Brunch –In the City of May, you can change them for another Brunch –In the City or Brunch –In the Park in the future.

When you access your Resident Advisor account (not available in the App, only on desktop website), once the date of the canceled event has passed, you will find these 3 different options that we explain below:

  1. Keep your ticket and redeem it for a future Brunch.

It may seem like a small gesture to you, but it is a great support for us. By choosing this option you will be helping us to make Sundays become Brunch day again.

To save your ticket and keep it for a Brunch –In the City or a Brunch –In the Park in the future, you must go to  RA “My Tickets” and select “Transfer Tickets”.

Your ticket will be saved for when we resume the activity. Using this option, you will keep the current price of your ticket, you will contribute to saving the scene and you will get a 50% discount for another ticket of that event.

  1. Request Refund

Log into your Resident Advisor account and go to “My Tickets”, then select “Refund Tickets”. You will receive the amount in the next 3 – 5 business days.

*Distribution costs are managed by RA

  1. Donar

Log into your Resident Advisor account and go to “My Tickets”, and select “Donate to Save Our Scene”. Doing so will be help save the scene by donating the cost of your ticket to the promoter. Choosing this option you will receive a 50% discount on a ticket to any Brunch -In The Park event in the future of your choosing.

From the date of the canceled event you will have 14 days to choose any of these 3 options.

For example, in the case of Brunch -In the City on May 10, all 3 options will be activated in Resident Advisor from Monday, May 11 to Monday, May 25.

Brunch -In the City on May 17: all 3 options will be activated in Resident Advisor from Monday, May 18 to Monday, June 1.

Brunch -In the City on May 24: all 3 options will be activated in Resident Advisor from Monday, May 25 to Monday, June 8.

A COMMON CHALLENGE

Although we face an uncertain future, we are committed to doing everything in our power so that we can continue have a place for us to celebrate

#salvemosnuestrosfestivales  #salvemoslaelectronica #salvemoslafiesta

Finally, we would like to join in unison with Resident Advisor in a call to #saveourscene. This is a decisive moment, with music suffering a great blow and needing to preserve its continued existence. It is time to save music! You can read the manifesto in Resident Advisor website.

On behalf of the entire Brunch team, we want to insist that at this time we must focus on the sick and the people that care for them, and we stand in solidarity with all those affected.

Thank you sincerely for your support and understanding.

CANCELLATION STATEMENT APRIL 19TH

By | News

The period of confinement has been extended, and as a result we are obligated to cancel Brunch -In The City #4 on Sunday April 19.

We are so sad to announce this, but public health and wellbeing is top priority, particularly during the ongoing crisis.

We are not the only ones in this situation. Music festivals, nightclubs, and events around the world are also facing cancellations and closures, putting into jeopardy the entire industry and the people it employs.

We acknowledge that clubbing and festivals are not essential at this time, and we do not want to draw attention away from those who are at risk: the sick and those who care for them. We also express our deepest appreciation to all healthcare staff: in this battle, they are truly heroes.

We are in this together

We find ourselves in a critical moment of history. Many of us are separated from our loved ones, and this raises an important topic: the need for community.

The sentiment most characteristic of the scene is the unification of people towards our common interest.

From internationally-renowned DJs live-streaming to online music festivals born spontaneously on social media to encourage us to stay home. From emerging artists sharing videos expressing themselves to people teaching us how to dance in our living room to make confinement more bearable. All supporting each other to remove the distance between each other.

For those of us who love this scene, what is giving us strength to keep going is the desire to dance together and feel the warm embrace of our community again.

TICKET REFUND: There are alternatives to refunds 🙂

We are optimistic of what the future holds and our next dance together in the sun! For a small company like Brunch the financial burden of refunds are extremely large, so instead of asking for a return of your ticket, we want to offer you the ability to exchange it for a ticket to any Brunch in the future of your choosing. We understand that the financial pressures of the crisis are not exclusive to us, so we request this action only from those who feel their situation allows it.

With this small gesture, you will be contributing directly to ensuring the survival of Brunch during the crisis, and keeping club and festival culture alive to #saveourscene

When you enter your Resident Advisor (only website, not available in App) account, after the date of the cancelled event has passed, you will find these three options:

We will resume our normal schedule of events as soon as health authorities deem it safe to do so, however, if subsequent cancellations occur these options for deferral, refund, or donation will be continued. For those with tickets to a future Brunch -In The City event, if that event is also cancelled due health authorities, these options will become available from the day after the event date.
